How long do you have to be on methadone?

A.

That is up to you.  Some of our patients have been on methadone for years, and others may want to wean off after they have been in treatment for 1-2 years.  We want you to be successful, so this choice is up to you.  You will talk with your counselor about the topic.

What are the operating hours of the clinic?

A.

Clinic Hours are as follows unless otherwise posted:

Monday - Friday - 6:00am - 9:00am - Open

9: 00am - 11:00am - Closed

11: 00 am - 2: 00 pm - Open

2: 00pm - 3:00 pm - Closed

3: 00 pm - 5: 00 pm - Open

Saturday ---------- 7: 00 am - 10:00 am

Does Center for Life Solutions, Inc accept reimbursement from Private Insurance companies or Employee Assistance Programs?

A.

Center for Life Solutions does not receive reimbursement from private insurance carriers.

Do all clients have to participate in counseling while receiving medications at Center for Life Solutions, Inc?

A.

All clients regardless of funding source must participate in a scheduled counseling regiment as recommended by their assigned counselor. "No Exceptions"

What kind of medication/s you do offer?

A.

Center for Life Solutions offers medications to treat opiate addiction/dependence.  We offer Vivitrol, Buprenorphine/naltrexone, (Suboxone, Methadone and oral Naltrexone.  Once a person has completed and evaluation by the counseling and medical staff the physician will review their medication options and assist the person in making a choice of the medication that they feel will work best for them.

How often do I have to come to the clinic?

A.

Patients on Buprenorphine/naloxone, oral Naltrexone, and Methadone will come to the clinic 6 days each week Monday through Saturday.  The clinic is closed on Sunday and medication is given to take at home.  If a person chooses Vivitrol they will have 2 appointments approximately 1 week apart and then about every 4 weeks for an injection.  The patient will be required to see their counselor for regular sessions at 1 hour per week to begin.

What if there is bad weather, snow or tornado and I cannot come to the clinic ?

A.

Center for Life Solutions, has an After Hours phone number which you can call if there is inclement weather.  We do our very best to keep patients informed.  There may be a general message giving information to patients or you may speak with the on-call staff.  There is a voice mail system, so you can leave a message in the event you would like to speak with someone directly.

Can you help a pregnant person who is using heroin? Will it hurt the baby ?

A.

Yes we can help a pregnant person who is using heroin.  Methadone is the treatment of choice during pregnancy
